The staff was friendly, which is really an exception in Scotland :) and we felt like home here.

It's potentially a lovely hotel. However, this is not 'luxury' accommodation as advertised. I would say it's more of a Premier Inn set up. We had to go find someone for reception and there is no lounge or bar for guests. Booking the restaurant as a guest ..... we were made to feel like it was a favour to book for a 5pm slot. Food was mediocre at best and over-priced. Breakfast was ok and lovely young woman on duty. We booked a top class room with a sea view - £280. It was in the attic with a tiny window with limited view to the sea. No warning of two flights of steep, shallow stairs. Luxury? Ikea type set up, with large containers of green 'stuff' that is passed off as toiletries. A matter of taste, but what was an old Manse and Church has had the heart ripped out of it. No remnants if it's history or culture.
The Dunollie Hotel has views across the sea to Loch Kishorn and the Applecross Hills. There is complimentary WiFi available in the lounge.

We had a great view of the sea from our window. While we didn't partake, their bar and food looked very inviting. Conveniently situated amongst buildings so that it was close to shops and a market and gas station.
Lovely location, friendly staff nice room with great views.
Lovely location, friendly staff nice room with great views. Restaurant is only serving same bar menu. Food was horrible and very limited choice. Believe hotel is short staffed so expectations need to be managed.

The location is superb, the house is great, the hosts are brilliant, the food is fantastic, and the rooms are all large, light, airy, with en-suites. The 4 poster bedroom is the best I've come across! I wholeheartedly recommend, for B+B, but also for dinner.

Good area to access hiking trails and central for touring. Probably not representative of how it is normally ie out of covid period with many more visitors and campervans everywhere- but thats the way Skye is nowadays beautiful scenery and very peaceful during our trip, with no midges!!

Isolated little suburb on the Isle of Skye right on the ocean. There are only a handful of restaurants around the area (10 minute drive) with Portree being the bigger town about 30 minutes away. Sconser didn't have any grocery stores so come prepared!
An amazing place to stay. Unfortunately it was pouring with rain during our visit so we weren't able to explore the nearby hiking trails
