Our stay at the Burleigh Court Hotel exceeded the (already high) expectations we had for our trip to the Cotswolds. The location is stunning, the staff was very friendly and helpfull with good suggestions for local activities and places to go to. The gardens and many places to sit are superb. We can highly recommend this hotel for your trip to the Cotswolds

Stroud is quite a big town in Gloucestershire and, as such, it has all of the shops and amenities one would expect. Plus, with a taxi rank, train station and frequent bus services to/from Cheltenham and Gloucester, among other places, the town is well connected. I would recommend it as a base from which to explore Gloucestershire.

Vibrant, friendly and historic town full of stylish places to eat and drink, unique gift shops surrounded by beautiful countryside. Local bus service was also very reliable on the Saturday ( well - better than my own at home anyway!). Public toilets in the town were clean and convenient.
I was on my own but felt safe even at nighttime.
Would recommend the indoor market, Stroud Bookshops, as well as Cornflower and Calico for kitchenware gifts. The Coffee House and Curio Lounge Cafe Bar were great places to visit as well.

Amberley Inn was in a village outside Stroud, the area was very picturesque and plenty to do in the area. The Aboretum at Batsford was exceptional with lovely autumn colour and the Cotswold Villages are a delight.

The whole area is protected, as are the Cotswolds and its a must stay.
Well connected by the train and buses with a labyrinth of country lanes and greenery for car travellers.
A canal and lots of old industrial history, once a main centre of the SW England WOOL TRADE, it remains rich with villages pubs restaurants, hill top views and lowland vales, many clear for 20 to 30 miles 360 degrees, a paradise to behold

Went to watch Giffords Circus at Minchinghampton Common, the show was fantastic and the atmosphere great, ate in the local pub, good food but a tad on the expensive side.
Lovely area of the Country to visit
The hotel is lovely, it's in a very quiet and beautiful location with plenty of on site parking. The staff were very approachable and welcoming throughout our stay and the room was clean with a lovely view. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was very nice too.
The hotel is in a great location for visiting Gloucester, Cheltenham and the surrounding area, it has some nice pubs for food and drink locally too.
Food great. Staff all very personable and supportive. Great dogs are allowed there, loads of space for them to run outside. And they were certainly no problem in the hotel. Great surroundings, good like I said, quiet, lovely soft beds. Who could ask for more. Wouldn’t hesitate to back anytime of the year.
For got to say, lovely linen, loads of thick towels. View from window across the moors just lovely.
We really liked the apartment, it's very spacious, clean and well presented. Very quirky inside with lots of different levels and rooms, and the two full bathrooms (one with bath and one with shower) were very useful. The Old Fleece pub/restaurant next door, was fantastic. The food was wonderful and the staff so friendly. There are some lovely walks in the area.
The Bear is usually our choice of hotel when we are in this area as it is such a convenient position and we know that the experience will be a happy one. All the extra precautions taken during this pandemic made us feel safe and we were very satisfied all round.
I went there for playing golf in Minchinhampton Golf Club. The location is perfect, not only for the golf but also for exploring the Cotswold Area. The bed is comfortable. I enjoy staying with the family of Emily, which made me feel at home.
Perfect stay. Clean, comfortable, excellent location, and friendly staff. Bonus points for wonderful included breakfast. This one definitely ticks all the boxes if you're visiting Stroud. And you should visit Stroud.
Everything we needed was there, it was very comfortable, warm & clean. Great location for centre of Stroud & canal walk. good car park. excellent accessible provisions - so thoughtful. Lovely outside seating area.
The accommodation provides everything you need for a getaway. The views from the accommodation is exceptional, the location is great for exploring the area and shops and restaurants not far away in Stroud.
I like the area the and the view you can see the stuff was helpful, and all had a lovely smile when entering the building. The food was amazing. So far, the best hotel iv stopped in and will return.
The original building and surrounding area is really beautiful. Generally the staff were very friendly and helpful and I really liked the fact they provided things like routes for local walks.
