Housed in a Chinese courtyard-style mansion, The Blue Mansion offers boutique accommodation tastefully furnished with antique fittings. It is a building with history, with several awards, a famous sightsee place. We just lived inside, and could visit parts which not open to public tourists. The build itself is beautiful, worthy of a lot of photos. Do visit it day and night and check very corners, you will find a quiet lot of different views. It has a very good restaurant "Indigo" on 2nd floor. Do have at least a meal there. It has playing of Chinese Zither on Friday (may be also weekend) night, only for guests. Its location is good to reach other interesting places by just walking.

The food is delicious all over the Penang island, that people really knows how to cook. You can reach all the points of interest on the island by the public bus. The island is full of historical places worth visiting. Almost all the inhabitants of the island speaks English. People are very willing to help you if you need

You just can't go wrong with the food! Get the map of local dishes and make sure you taste everything! I never thought that I could go to a place just for the food, but Penang was a huge surprise. Like nothing else that I have ever visited. The old town is very nice. easy to get around and safe. Don't miss this when in Malaysia!
